Considered as a metro area (which included all of Flagler County) Palm Coast, Florida ranked 4th among all cities in percentage population growth from July '07 to July '08. The county was rated number one in growth for two years ('03 to '05). The Palm Coast metro population is estimated to have grown from 88,178 to 91,247.
For the period from 2000 to 2008, Palm Coast ranks #1 among metropolitan areas in percentage growth while Flagler holds onto the #2 spot among all counties. During that 8-year period, Palm Coast's estimated population grew 83.1%.
